Lakeland attorney Stephen R. Senn reappointed to board of The Florida Bar Foundation

MAITLAND, Fla. — Lakeland attorney Stephen R. Senn has been reappointed by The Florida Bar to a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice.

Board certified in appellate practice, Senn is a shareholder with Peterson & Myers, P.A., where his practice includes appeals and federal litigation, as well as employment and business disputes. Senn earned his bachelor’s and law degrees at Florida State University. He joined the board of Florida Rural Legal Services in 1998 and served as its president for three years. A founding member of the board of directors of the Florida Equal Justice Center, Senn also served as that organization’s president for three years.

He has been a member of the 10th Circuit Pro Bono Committee since 1999 and has had an active pro bono practice throughout his 20-year career. Senn said his interest in serving The Florida Bar Foundation stems from his continued commitment to “shrinking the justice gap.”

Senn, a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow and a member of the Foundation’s Bronze Society for lifetime giving, began his term July 1.
