Thomas Oldt reappointed to board of The Florida Bar Foundation

MAITLAND, Fla. — Winter Haven, Fla., investment advisor Thomas R. Oldt has been reappointed as a public member to a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation,
a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice.

Oldt earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. Prior to entering the securities business, he worked as a research librarian at The Washington Post, covered Congress as a writer for The Energy Daily, was a reporter for The Ledger and The St. Petersburg Times, and taught history, economics and government. Licensed by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in multiple states, Oldt serves as a registered representative and general securities principal specializing in a broad spectrum of corporate and personal retirement planning.

Oldt serves on several community boards and organizations, including the Florida Justice Technology Center, the Humane Society of Polk County, and the Community Foundation of Greater Winter Haven.

A Foundation Fellow, Oldt began his term on The Florida Bar Foundation board July 1.
