As IOTA program director for FFLA, Lushawn Phillips is responsible for overseeing the education and operation of the Interest on Trust Accounts (IOTA) program for lawyers, law firms and participating eligible institutions. She also serves as a board member of the National Association of IOLTA Programs.

Lushawn ensures compliance with the IOTA Rule, specifically the interest rate requirement for participating eligible institutions. She also provides guidance to attorneys and banks regarding IOTA accounts.

Prior to joining The Florida Bar Foundation, now FFLA, in 1995, she served in various capacities at Union Bank of Florida, including head bookkeeper, bank operations specialist and consumer loan representative.
