Marathon attorney David L. Manz appointed to Florida Bar Foundation board

MAITLAND, Fla. —Marathon attorney David L. Manz has been appointed to a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice. A partner and owner of The Manz Law Firm, Manz practices marital and family law. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Auburn University and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law.

Manz served as president of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2010-2011 and chaired The Florida Bar Family Law Section in 2011-12. He has served as vice chair of The Florida Bar’s 16th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, chair of its Family Law Board Certification Committee and a member of the 16th Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

Manz, a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow, began his term July 1.
