Attorney Dori Foster-Morales to serve on The Florida Bar Foundation board

MAITLAND, Fla. – Miami attorney Doris Foster-Morales has been appointed to the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice.

A longtime advocate for legal aid, she is a partner in Foster-Morales Sockel-Stone, a law firm focused on family law. Prior to her current practice, Foster-Morales worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. and New York and was an assistant state attorney in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she prosecuted career criminal felony offenders for the last three years of her tenure.

Foster-Morales has been extensively involved in bar leadership locally and statewide. She has served on The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors since 2008. She is an active member of the Florida Family Law Inns of Court, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Cuban American Bar Association. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College Of Law.

Her term will go through June 2018.
