Attorney Scott G. Hawkins to serve on Florida Bar Foundation board

scottj_hawkins-webORLANDO, Fla.— As Florida Bar president, West Palm Beach attorney Scott G. Hawkins will serve as a designated director on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization that works on behalf of Florida’s legal profession to expand access to justice.

Hawkins earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, his juris doctor from the University of Florida College of Law and his M.B.A. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

As shareholder and vice-chair of Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs, P.A., Hawkins practices business litigation law.

Hawkins has served on The Florida Bar Board of Governors and on various Florida Bar sections and committees. He is a past president of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

He is an active alumnus at the University of Florida and has held the positions of President of the International Alumni Association, President of the College of Law Alumni Council, Member of the Board of Trustees of the College of Law and Board Member of the University of Florida Foundation. Additionally, he is vice-chair of the Palm Beach Atlantic University Board of Trustees.

Hawkins, who is a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow, began his term July 1.
