Chuck focuses on standardizing and streamlining how the Foundation processes and uses technology. For example, he provides technical support and guidance for the fundraising system (The Raiser’s Edge), financial system (The Financial Edge), and grants management system (LegalServer). Chuck also provides project management expertise for technology initiatives, including software and network initiatives, as well as data analysis and electronic communications. In addition, Chuck provides staff support for the technology subcommittee of the Florida Commission on Access to Civil Justice and the Florida Justice Technology Center as needed.
Most recently, Chuck spent nine years working for Blackbaud’s Professional Services as a principal consultant. Chuck provided expert implementation and training support for the flagship products The Raiser’s Edge, The Financial Edge, The Education Edge, and all the related Internet products. For this position, Chuck traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. When the Foundation created the knowledge and database manager position, he saw an opportunity to bring his expertise to the Foundation and its statewide initiatives and relocate to one of his favorite destinations, Central Florida.
