This is a follow-up to our email below about our upcoming meetings with Foundation General Support Grantees. We are looking forward to our webinar with you all on August 9th . Our one-on-one grantee meetings will kick off on August 10th here in Orlando.
The Foundation Team will be traveling to 6 major cities across the state to meet with each of you. Please review the chart below to see the dates and locations that we are coordinating for these important meetings. You will receive a link to an online survey in the next few days where you will indicate your team’s preferred meeting times. We will do our best to accommodate schedules and requests, and appreciate you understanding that we may not be able to schedule your top preference – but we will do our very best. The survey will also ask you to list the management team members and board members who will be attending the one-on-one with you.
Scheduling the Meetings
We will send out the confirmed meeting schedules after the online surveys are received and we coordinate the logistics. Because some of your team members will be traveling more than 30 miles to the meeting location, we will reimburse those team members’ mileage.
Who Is Expected to Meet
A Foundation team consisting of: me (Bruce Blackwell), 1-2 Foundation board members, and 2-3 Foundation team members will meet with you, your organization’s Board chair (or his/her designee) and another board leader of your choice, and up to 3 members of your management team. The meetings will last about an hour to 90 minutes to discuss what the Foundation’s strategic reset means to the Foundation, your organization, and the delivery system.
