Each year, Florida Trend invites members of The Florida Bar to name the best attorneys in the state by practice area. This year, 1,444 lawyers were selected by their peers for the Florida Legal Elite 2016.
Eight of the 65 Government and Non-Profit lawyers selected for this year’s Legal Elite are associated with The Florida Bar Foundation or its grantees. Among these top vote recipients are Bruce B. Blackwell, the Foundation’s CEO, and Ericka Garcia, director of pro bono partnerships. Blackwell is also in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame.

Rosemary E. Armstrong, formerly of Bay Area Legal Services and currently of Crossroads for Florida Kids, was also recognized.
