Newly formed Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA) hosts virtual Legal Services Roundtable

The newly formed Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA) will host a virtual Legal Services Roundtable on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 12-1:30 p.m. ET for legal services providers in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

The LFAA is a recently established organization consisting of more than 285 U.S. law firms across the country seeking to leverage the resources of the private bar in partnership with legal services organizations to amplify the voices of communities and individuals oppressed by racism and to promote racial equity in the law. Understanding the importance of gathering diverse perspectives from legal services leaders across the country, LFAA has decided to host a series of legal services roundtables on a regional basis in an effort to gather specific actionable ideas on how to work hand-in-hand with various communities.

Discussion topics will include:

  • How can the LFAA best complement the ongoing antiracist work of your organization?
  • On which antiracism projects and initiatives could your organization use more pro bono support?
  • What additional information can we share about the LFAA that would be helpful to you?

In the interest of facilitating a manageable conversation, the LFAA is asking to limit attendees to one per organization.
