Tampa attorney Gregory P. Brown appointed to board of The Florida Bar Foundation

Gregory_BrownORLANDO — Tampa attorney Gregory P. Brown has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization that works to expand access to justice on behalf of Florida’s legal profession.

Brown is a shareholder in the litigation group of Hill Ward Henderson, P.A. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his juris doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law.

Brown was appointed to serve on The Florida Bar’s Civil Procedure Rules Committee and has served several terms as an elected board member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Division; as vice chair of the Florida Law Related Education Committee; and as an ex-officio board member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He is also active in the community, concentrating most of his efforts on public education endeavors. He helped found a statewide moot court program, now sponsored by Florida Law Related Education Association and The Florida Bar, as well as the Robert J. Simms Mock Trial Competition. He also coaches the Riverview High School Mock Trial Team.

Brown, a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow, began his term July 1.
