Tampa attorney Hala Sandridge reappointed to Florida Bar Foundation board

Hala-SandridgeMAITLAND, Fla. —Tampa attorney Hala Sandridge has been reappointed to a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice.

Sandridge, co-managing shareholder of the Tampa office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney | Fowler White Boggs, practices in the area of appellate law. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law.

Sandridge has received numerous pro bono awards including the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Jimmy Kynes Pro Bono Award in 2000; The Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award in 2002; the Distinguished Pro Bono Award from Bay Area Legal Services in 2007 and the Have a Heart Pro Bono Service Award in 2009.

She has been a member of the Litigation Section, Young Lawyers Division, and Appellate Committee of the American Bar Association. Sandridge also has chaired the appellate practice sections of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and The Florida Bar.

Sandridge, a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow, began her term July 1.
