West Palm Beach attorney David Prather appointed to The Florida Bar Foundation board

david prather headshotMAITLAND, Fla. – West Palm Beach County attorney David Prather has been appointed to the board of The Florida Bar Foundation, a statewide charitable organization whose mission is to provide greater access to justice.

A partner with Clark, Fountain, La Vista, Prather, Keen & Littky-Rubin, Prather practices in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and auto negligence litigation.

Prather graduated with honors from Hunter College of the City University of New York and earned his law degree at Rutgers University School of Law. He was a member of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. He is a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors, serving previously on its Executive Committee, and is a trustee of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society.

He has served on the Federal Judicial Nominating Committee for the Southern District of Florida since 2011 and is past-president of the Palm Beach County Justice Association. He received the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association’s “President’s Award” in 2015.

Prather, a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow and member of the Foundation’s Bronze Society for lifetime giving, begins his three-year term July 1.
